Santa's naughty list.

And he's F***ing pissed.
I made this card for the holidays. This year Santa thought of a more creative way to deal with the naughty list, instead of just coal in their stockings.

Rabbit man....thing.

I want to animate the character from the pop up so I drew him out at several angles and kept his eyebrows and arms detached to easily manipulate in After Effects. Now he just needs a name.

This walrus has a nice hat.

Based off a tutorial found on Go Media. They used a man wielding a gun. I chose to make something a bit more bizarre.

Ok so I changed it a bit

So apparently there are restrictions to how many colors you can use for submission. So now its a few shades of blue and has halftones for shading. Thats all I have to say about that.

Monster Fart

So the basic idea was to create something that might look nice on a tshirt. I want to submit it to Threadless.com once I get all the colors finalized. I'm not sure where I got the idea. I think it was a dream i had. Or an idea I had in a mid wake/dream state. They're the monsters in your closet not being able to take the smell that one of them released so they're forced to blow their cover and evacuate their hiding spot.

IT touched my arm. I think it may fall off.

So this actually happened to me. Minus losing the limb, of course.

Aw damn.

Some people thought this guy had a turban on. Hopefully now that its colored its easier to tell its a cowboy hat. A lady at work looked at the inked version and says, "Wow, that's a little politically risky isn't it?" I wasn't sure where she was going with the whole thing. Then she says, "The turban". Oh. No, stupid.

To the Top

Issue 1 Issue 2

Issue 3

Rejected version

So I recently started a comic strip gig for http://www.thetimessquarechronicle.com/ They print in New York. I myself dont have regular access to the actual paper so I'll keep updating through this place. Ive uploaded the first 3 issues worth( Plus the rejected version as a bonus!)
Its about this guy's arrival to NY and his adventures (misfortunes?) as he tries to make it big on Broadway.

Pop pop pop.

I made this at my day job. I'm probably supposed to be doing other things. But I like pop-ups better than real work.

This is fairly recent.

Im not sure there was actually any inspiration to these two. Truthfully, a lot of my stuff has no real inspiration. It all kind of just happens. I think I remember wanting to draw someone with a huge nose. And then he came out swooning like that. And I thought it would be great to have him swooning over a big girl in a swimsuit? hah.

Its a start

So these are a couple images I had up on my old website. Actually I think theyre still up. Anyway, I dont think i've strayed too far from the simplicity of these characters but I like to think I have improved a bit. I still actually really like both of these.
